The members of the NJDXA are saddened to report that Allan Koenigsberg, AE2J, became a SK on December 4, 2014 after losing his battle with several health issues. He was at home with his family and went peacefully.
Alan was a long term member of the NJDXA and worked in the W2 Bureau for many years.
Alan was one of the most popular NJDXA member and an all around nice guy. He will be missed. RIP Alan.

North Jersey DX Association staffed a booth along with members of the W1 incoming QSL Bureau at the ARRL Centennial Convention in Hartford, CT July 18th & 19th. We answered questions about bureau operations, checked subscriber credit status, and accepted new subscriber and renewal payments.
Doug, W2EN, Bill W2UDT, and Eric, KV1J gave a 1 hour forum on the history of the bureaus and QSL'ing in the 21st century. The room had 100 seats and it was packed! People were standing and sitting on the floor.
We had 25 NJDXA members sign in at the W1/W2 booth.
