NJDXA Celebrates its Fiftieth Anniversary
Congratulations to us! We have survived and thrived for 50 years. No other organization has managed an incoming QSL Bureau continuously for such a long period of time. We owe our longevity to the dedicated members who serve the NJDXA and the QSL Bureau by donating their time and efforts to the DX Community. Over the years, our membership has changed. The radio pioneers of years past are relegated to memories and photographs. We must depend on our younger members to carry on the traditions of service established by our founders. Fortunately, we can do this with pleasure and satisfaction.On December 2, 2007 the NJDXA members and their spouses and guests gathered at the Basking Ridge Country Club. Doug Rue, W2EN, John Sawina, NA2R, and Bill Hudzik, W2UDT presented a superb program honoring our founding members and highlighting the history of the NJDXA. Our deepest gratitude goes to Doug and Bill and John for their efforts in making our 50th anniversary a memorable occasion. |
